The Saline County Scholarship Program is proud to sponsor, with it's supporters, Kalyssa as their first Outstanding Teen. Kalyssa is a student at Friend Public. Her parents are Brian & Karalyn Hoefer. For the Programs first year they will issue a $150.00 savings bond to their Outstanding Teen and assist her in her journey to the Miss Nebraska Outstanding Teen competition in June of 2008.

This program is for 12- 17 year old girls. It is to expose them to the Miss America Organization with it's state & local competitions. The teens can find scholarship opportunities, experience on stage, public appearance bookings and coaching with interviews, talent and make a new friends.
